Ok, so …
We’re not supposed to bother the Bitwarden folks with bugs and issues if we’re using VW. I’m self hosting, VW, and pretty sure I’m affected by a bug reported on BW about Chrome, but I’m affected on Firefox and wouldn’t mind if anyone else could confirm.
- My server is offline / non-accessible at the moment.
- The login window shows up, but hangs when I unlock the vault.
- The extension icon/button shows the number of passwords for whatever website I might be on
- When I open bitwarden, it’s an empty pop-up.
This matches pretty much exactly the behaviour described in Chrome extension takes forever to load UI after authenticating and is extremely slow and unresponsive - #20 by grb - Password Manager - Bitwarden Community Forums
I figure it’s the same thing, just that I’m on FF and that’s about Chrome. I recently got the extension update, and it’s been failing since.
Anyone else in the same boat?
