Does the Export feature work?

Hi,

Came across your project and thought I’d give it a try using a spare Raspberry Pi. All has gone well thus far - setting up Org, Users, Importing Accounts etc.
I’ve tried the export feature and all it does is produce an empty file. Is the Export feature meant to work in this project? If so, what am I doing wrong?

Hello smithnb,

The export feature is fully controlled by the web-vault it self, which is just a copy of the official bitwarden project. There should be no server-side action happening for the export.

Also, if you use the export, it is dependent on where you trigger the export.
If you have all the passwords within an org, then you need to use the export function within the org tools tab. If you have all the passwords in your own vault, you should use the export within your account tools tab (which is located at the top).

Thanks for your prompt reply. That has solved it!
I needed to do the Export from the Organisation Tools Tab.
