Android: We were unable to process your reuqest

I’m using the android client to connect to a self-hosted (docker) valtwarden server. This had worked until recently.

However, now, when I launch the 'droid client, I get a message: “We were unable to process your reuqest. Please try again or contact us.”

This has been going on for days now.
I’m using Version 2024.8.1 (19099) for the client.
The server web page reports version Version 2024.1.2

Do I just need to upgrade the server? If so, is it just a matter of pulling the latest image?

If the server reports it’s 2024.1.2 then you have a very outdated Vaultwarden. Check to be sure you have the latest version.

Also, some users experience issues with the new clients. The today build testing tagged container has several fixes to mitigated these issues.

I wasn’t able to use the testing tag, but re-pulling the latest image seems to have fixed it.
