Will cross version exporting and importing result in losing some card items?

Due to expiration of my old server, I transfer the account data(by export and import) days before. And I found I lose some card items just now.

I want to ask if the cross version transfer will result in some item been losed?

If you export the data as CSV it will not export card items, so you should probably use JSON as format. Be aware that exporting the data does not export attachments and it will also lose the password history:

So it might be better to transfer the instance by restoring the data from a backup, instead of relying on the export/import functionality.

Also not sure from what version you are exporting but Iā€™d recommend updating to the latest version if possible before upgrading. (After making a backup of course.)

Thanks for you reply! Luckily I exported data both json and csv. Now I get my cards back!
