Bitwarden Linux client (Flatpak) not working with VW1.28.1

In case it helps anyone, after upgrading to Vaultwarden 1.28.1 (using Docker Compose) I found that although the upgrade was fine, the Linux desktop Bitwarden client, installed via Flatpak (on KDE Neon 22.04, based on Ubuntu 22.04) consistently fails with a ‘JavaScript error’ which continually repeats (each time you ‘ok’ to close the pop up, another appears). You can log in, after many ok’d JS error dialog clicks, but it’s not really usable.

I subsequently installed the current AppImage version of the Bitwarden Linux client and it does work as expected. It may be that the Flatpak version is lagging behind. Get the AppImage: Install and Sync All of Your Devices | Bitwarden

Why you don’t use the standard DEB packages? We also always maintain the latest DEB in our freely accessible repository. https://apt.iteas.at/
