Bitwarden Client does not show passkey dialog on MacOS

On MacOS I try to use the Bitwarden client with https://vault.vaultwarden.net/

It accepts the EMail/Password and tries to check the passkey as 2FA, but fails to show the pop-up so I can auth with my fingerprint.

That used to work, so I guess it is a regression.

Client version 2026.7.0 and 2026.8.0

That site has nothing to do with this project. This project does not host any public environment.
We also do not suggest to use public instance, as you do not know what might be altered.
