SMTP sending mail error

I have set up a postfix for sending mails but i am facing an error
“Error sending SMTP test email
SMTP Client error: internal client error: No compatible authentication mechanism was found”

and in mail logs : -

I could not understand what could be the problem ?

You probably want to use port 587 (submission) instead of 25.
(and perhaps you may want to reconsider whether you really want to run your own SMTP server…)

Are you trying to smtp forward through gmail’s smtp server’s or another service?

With Postfix, given the 127.0.0.0/8 CIDR and no relayhost set I would presume that the OP here is attempting to set up send from SMTP directly.

Assuming MX records are set correctly, but past that I dare not touch running a mail server.
As @reinob puts it its really not worth the hassle imo.
