Hello everybody,
I’m trying to set this policy for our company in Vaultwarden. (my vaultwarden is in german - no idea what the policy is named in english, and i cant find where to change languages - but i hope you know which one i mean “organisation owned passwords or something like that” - sorry :D)
When i try to activate it, it shows an Error: “An Error occoured, Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘split’)”
Dev Console shows:
PUT https://vaultwarden.mydomain.at/api/organizations/1b97c1a7-0332-4efa-aef0-b886dd20fd87/policies/5/vnext 404 (Not Found)
console-log.service.ts:51 Async submit exception: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘split’)
I asked Gemini (LLM), it suggested the cause could be that there are Entries in the private Vaults which maybe cant be moved to the organisation → the error.
I didn’t find anything helpful via Google.
I’ve removed all users and pw entries - Vaultwarden is basically vanilla and empty except the organisation.
I tried deleting everything recreating the organisation, users etc.
The error remains.
Is this feature not available for the current version of vaultwarden?
Any idea what the problem could be?
Vaultwarden is deployed on a coolify instance.
Vaultwarden 1.35.3
Web-Vault 2026.1.1
