Hello, my Bitwarden app on my Google Pixel 7 Pro has suddenly stopped connecting to my Vaultwarden instance. When I try to login, I get an error popup saying, “This is not a recognized Bitwarden server. You may need to check with your provider or update your server.”
It had been working for nearly 2 years flawlessly. I can still access Vaultwarden on a computer through the website login, as well as through the browser extension. I can also access it on my phone through the website login. Connections are secure, and SSL checkers claim all certificates are valid and the chain is intact.
Vaultwarden is running on Docker on my unRAID server. I currently have the “testing” image pulled and running, but was running 1.34.3. I also tried a couple older versions, which none of them would work either. When looking at the logs for Vaultwarden, my phone connects and says my user logs in successfully when the error pops up, then nothing else happens in the logs

Vaultwarden is reverse-proxied through NginxProxyManager with my domain hosted on Cloudflare. Up until the app quit working, I was using an SSL cert provided my Cloudflare and loaded into NPM. Since it quit working, I’ve tried several other certs, and currently have a Let’s Encrypt cert loaded.
On my phone I have the 2025.8.1 app installed and the full chain Let’s Encrypt cert installed properly. I’ve tried clearing cache and storage, uninstalling the app, restarting and reinstalling, all to no avail. I’ve also tried several older versions of the app. Private DNS is set to Off.
I’m kind of at a loss. I’ve been trying “fixes” found all over this page, as well as other places and still no go. Does anyone have any ideas on where to start?
