Real Client IP without reserve proxy

Hello@all,

I am running a docker container of vaultwarden on a NAS in my network. I dont need access from extern so I didnt setup a reserve proxy like nginx or caddy.

I noticed that the log always shows the gateway IP from the docker network insteed the real client IP.
Do I miss something here or is a reserve proxy required to get the real client IPs?

I’m not sure docker has something like that.
The only way i know of is setting the entry point of the network to host, which will tie that container directly to the network.

yes this did the trick, I just moved the container from *bridge’ to ‘host’ network.
