# Open links in an existing instance of Vaultwarden

Opening a collection directly by its URL results in a new instance of the VW web GUI. Navigation to multiple collections by their URLs results in multiple VW instances, each requiring authentication. I’m requesting that once an instanace of Vaultwarden is opened, subsequent links to collections open in the existing instance, not a new one.
