# Bitwarden app: hostname cannot be assigned

Hey i have a domain with a ssl certificate that has an a record which points to the internal ip address of my bitwarden instance. It works fine when i use the browser, however on both android and ios bitwarden app i get a message saying the hostname cannot be assigned. Does anyone have an idea why this is?
